1955 GILLETTE RED TIP SAFETY RAZOR ORIGINAL CASE

This is a 1955 Gillette Twist to Open Red Tip Safety Razor with original Gillette blade dispenser
in it's hinged case. The razor is in good working order and clean condition. The razor has
normal vintage wear with very minimal brassing barely visible to the naked eye.

The underside of the head is marked with the Gillette trademark, Made In U.S.A. Reg. U.S. Pat.
Off. and the third quarter 1955, date code A-3. The blades are in a 10 count, metal dispenser of
Gillette Super Blue Blades. The hinged plastic razor case is clean and in good condition
consistent with it's age.

The hinges are unbroken and the clasp works. There is no scratching or discoloration on the
handle. It's red tip looks as clean and red as the day it was made. This shaving kit would be
great for a collector or as a daily shaver.
